“Had dinner at a diner down the street. Looked up dessert near me and this place came up. NOT disappointed! We had brownies, sundaes, milkshake, cupcake and coffee. All of it was DELICIOUS! The small sundaes were huge! Kids could not finish them and at $7ish each hard to beat for the quality! I had an eggnog cupcake. I was not sure it would be good but whatever magic y'all put in it worked great together! The frosting was light and fluffy not too sweet not too bland. And the cake was moist, not crumbly, not heavy just perfect! Had a latte with soymilk because my belly does not care for milk in coffee. Local coffee company supplies the beans. They also have pretty much any kind of candy, pies, and sweets you might need and apparently they cater! Stop in you will not regret it...unless you do not like sweets and then I am sorry.”

“I made a last minute order on Friday for two birthday cakes. The Sweet Retreat Team had amazing customer service over the phone, and they were super accommodating for the over the phone order. They had a quick turnaround time with me being able to pick up the cake on Sunday at 12pm. Now to the actual cakes themselves: These Are The BEST CAKES In the DMV. The cakes were super moist and packed full of flavor. We also loved how the cake kept its shape during the commute and during the cake cutting process. In terms of the Buttercream Frosting?? They put the “Butter” in “Buttercream.” It was so rich and I’m not even an icing person!! This cake was truly some of the best in the area, and also at an amazing price point. I will be using them for all events moving forward!! (P.S. you HAVE to try their Salted Toffee Cookies and their dipped pretzels - they are out of this world!)”
